Root [International] Apps randomly uninstalling themselves...

Ok this is driving me mad... I have a galaxy s3 i9300 which I have tried with CM10.1, Liquidsmooth 4.3 and now AOKP 4.3. All with fully clean installs.

Whatever I try, when I install "unlock key" apps from google play, namely the following;

- Safe Camera Pro Key
- Poweramp Full Version
- Nova Launcher Prime

They stick around for anything from a few hours to a day or two and then randomly disappear from the device. They then need to be reinstalled. I haven't been able to ascertain any trigger event that's making this happen! I had thought it might be adaway stopping the key apps from checking their licence with google play, but I uninstalled that and no change.

Any ideas...?

Do you use Titanium? Has gave you that new warning when you start it up? Try doing a wipe, reinstalling titanium and when it gives you a big popup, choose the button on the right, "old style or something.

If you tell us your carrier we will move your thread to the appropriate All Things Root sub-forum for your phone. (This maximizes exposure to other users who share your environment.)

Thank you! It's a UK purchased i9300, I don't think it's a model specific to a network (I think only US carriers do that?). It was originally locked to O2 UK.

Im guessin like the titinium unlock app we buy instead of in app purchase bro?
Nova is the same i think, two separate apps needed :thumbup:

Yes exactly that - apps to unlock other apps.

Nova prime, safe camera pro key, poweramp unlock key.

Tried messaging app devs, no response. :(

Ah gotcha. This happen to me with Touchdown key a while ago. Still don't know why, but emailed the devs with my Play purchase number and they sent me a serial no I could use instead. Sure you'll get same support for those 3 apps as well. Good luck, sorry can't be of more help.

Yeah i can only same as Saltire. Im having a bad experience with a dev who refuses to reply to emails right now (Coolace, maker of PieControl pro) but ive had some really good ones who will go out of their way to help. Just search for your play receipt in email. Gud luck mate :beer:

Ok.... I think... think... [touches wood and turns round three times] I may have found a workaround. Install clean clean clean rom, install titanium first, grant root permission for 10 minutes only, remove mobile broadcast, uninstall titanium backup, then install apps as needed. I have not lost my unlock apps for a full day now!

Obviously if you live in a country where mobile broadcast has any relevance and doesn't beep incessantly with random list of numbers then this problem shouldn't arise, but I just can't live with the damned thing going off every ten minutes.
