Root [International] Bug - Volume keeps going up

Hi everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 with Android Revolution HD 22.4 ROM.
For sometime I've been experiencing a problem that the volume is going up.
At first it started when i entered the Camera, but now it happens almost all of the time.

I tried to search for it over the internet but with no luck and to re-install the ROM (factory reset and everything).

Does anyone know anything about it?

Thanks!

Are you sure it's not a bug with the rom itself? Have you tried restoring a different or older version to see if the problem persists?

Welcome to the forums! :D

Since you're rooted, and appear to have the international version, I'm going to move this to the international all things root section where you'll get help from others in the same situation :)

i know this might sound stupid but do u happen to have a case on the phone and are you sure the case is not interfering with the volume up button?

You know, that was my first gut reactiin too but I sidnt mention it because I wasn't familiar with the rom.

i have never heard of the rom either i have a similar issue with one of the cases i got i dunno what it is but every time i put the case on the phone the vol buttons act crazy.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for answering.
I am not using any case.
Like I said, i tried to re-install the ROM several times. and also looked in the ROM forum, no one is mentioning this issue.

But! i found a problem many people had with Sticky volume button (hardware issue).
The volume button is getting stuck. i guess the problem is caused by this.
if you want, or have the same issue, you can view it on:

Thanks for helping!
