Root [International] Carbon Rom

Im experimenting with CM 11 KitKat built by some i9300 specialists on G+ who have camera and SD working now but Carbon is the rom i go back to. Glad u got it sorted bro lol. Such a nice 4.3 rom :):beer:
 
Anyone experiencing a bug where the menu button doesn't work on the home screen? Its really annoying and means I have to drag the notification bar down, switch to tiles in order to select settings.

It is intermittent and I don't know what causes it.

Apart from this I really like this rom - especially the carbon black setting. It reminds me of how awesome the black blacks look on an amoled display - especially at night. :)
 
17th. I was on the 8th but I thought an update might fix the menu button thing.

You say it's a known bug? I was wondering whether it was Nova Prime.
 
Well ive reported it to them but duno if they took any notice. It wasnt a proper bug report (logcat, no mods etc) so i dunno m8.
Maybe it is nova....

Do you have problems downloading roms? I have had quite a few roms failing to completely download. Weird. I thought it was just me.
 
I get to like 63mb n get "download complete". Thought it was my shity 3g. I have to ask someone to upload any rom i want lol.

Are u dirty flashing updates? I was but clean flashed the last one and still had the bugs so il b dirty flashin this one :)
 
Dirty boy lol. If its gona eat up your bandwidth its cool mate ill get an american on g+ to do it with their fancy 4g crap lol :D
 
Cheers bud. Maybe this will stop the system force closes. They seemed to happen when i rotated screen... im convinced theyre something to do with Xposed but i love it too much to get rid :)
 
I've experienced excessive battery drain overnight due to unexplained nfc usage:

As a solution I tried to turn off nfc but found that I couldn't. The option is greyed out in settings:

This has not happened before.

After a reboot, the nfc settings are now available :) but does anyone have any idea what might have caused this?
 
Ive never used NFC nor ever seen it in my stats bro. Thats a strange yin!! :confused: any other reports of it?
U tried DS Battery Saver btw? My phone uses like 3% overnight on standby usin it
 
hi guys. really liking carbon rom now.. had a few launcher memory issues at start.. but re installing Nova seems to have sorted that :-)
 
Hey guys I've just switched to 01/11 nightly Carbon teamed up with Googy Max 1.7.9 from my old Rom and am well impressed, very slick with my zooper theme , I'm gonna post pics cause I'm proud of it and wanna show off and Funky should like music player screens. Using pop up widget plumbed into Zoopper Beta and Media utility Beta Any issues with the latest Carbon nightly's ?

Very nice so far (couple of days) quick and good battery.
Using Lulzactiveq gov and IO deadline. Working well for me.
