I dont get why people want the on-screen nav' buttons when theres perfectly good ones on the bezel. Isnt it a waste of size/space?
Im happy with the capacative buttons on s3 but wouldnt mind on-screen if it allowed for a bigger screen:unit ratio :)

Maybe i should try them but id end up hating my phones useless big "chin" lol :)
 
Lol it looks "chinny" enough justnow coz i have a carbon black effect DecalGirl decal/sticker around the bezel (very hot) but i picked the home button bit off so it has a stupid white chin lol :)

EDIT now im seeing it as a toothy grin lol..... my brain is broken :)
 
the one thing I don't like about Sammy roms so much is that they seem to kill off apps too quickly, so you are always seeing them reload :-( just makes phone look worse imo. aokp seems much better at this
 
3rd party dialer and sms apps are just as bad mate.
Not sure if id rather have them cached all the time or wait a few seconds for them to load though...
 
10.5.2 installed and looking very nice indeed - some of the rom settings UI has been cleaned up and app store looking fresher - ive gone with yank555 kernel this time


....couldnt resist - but have installed virtual button bar app ;) very cool imo
 
new rom running very well

trying out the battery bar indicator mod - think would be better if had a few more colors for the different levels maybe
 
So is Codec a Sammy ROM or not? Listed under Sammy on xda but reading thread it says TW removed?? Any idea what's missing :confused:

Mind you there's a lot I've now got to play with on Wanam plus Jkay framework plus Motomoto theme anyway ;)

What i want is NO battery icon. I use Battery Notifier app for coloured batt percentage so its really not needed.
Would like rid of the signal and data indicators too tbh n maybe just have a widget.. my signals usualy excelent.
Id like to change clock colour too :) orange i thnk :)

Just now using the "aroma" for the rom im using, i have it set up as a blue circular indicator but id rather just have it blacked out.... just to be different lol.
Us geeks just want our phones to be different from the average s3 dont we lol :)

i meant that in battery view option you can set it to be a thin line across top of screen which might be better for you.
i thought you could turn it off too actually

Try Jkay framework, plus the Deluxe settings app from Playstore - just match right framework dl to ROM firmware, gives you load more modding options for status bar, settings panels etc - including no battery icons :thumbup:
