Root [International] Connection drops after root/SIM numbers

Hi there!
I know this question has been asked before, but I haven't found an answer that works on my phone...

I have a S3 with stock rom from Samsung/provider Telia (Sweden). After rooting with CF Auto Root, the data connection drops like every five minutes and mostly stays off. The airplane mode on/off fix won't work, nor will the "mobile data on/off" in Settings.

The only change I have seen after rooting, when it comes to data connection, is that the SIM operator code and Network operator code used to match (24001). Now, the Network operator code is 24005. (See picture. Some info has been grayed out for privacy reasons, but are all available.)

Does it matter, and does it affect this problem? If so, are there any solution to this which won't cost me a ton of money? :-)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Did you flash a ROM yet or did you try to update modem

I got the phone back from service just the other day. It worked fine. All I did after that was to flash CF Auto-root to get root access. No other tings were done. No mods, no customized ROM etc. That's when I got the error.

After that I have tried to unroot and restore the phone by flashing the stock rom from Sammobile using Odin. All went well, but since it is the same version as before nothing really changed. Unfortunately, the error didn't change either. I have confirmed that the root access is gone. In Settings under "About the phone" (translated from Swedish) and then Status the status of the phone, in the bottom, says "official".

Also, if I reboot into download mode everything says "official" so I'm positive that I'm back to stock rom.

I have not tried to flash just the modem, and to be honest - I'm not sure how to. Maybe that's a possible solution?

Thanks!

Tobias

Have you found a fix yet mate?
I cant think of a way that rooting would have caused the problem. Are you sure it started when you flashed CF? Either way, you've reflashed stock firmware so the system is totally fresh now
I wouldn't go messing around with modems tbh it can be a bit risky.
Why not try a custom rom?
