hi guys.
just had my first shop time with nexus 5.
impressions;
.wow! it's SO light! :-D
.too light maybe.. a bit cheap feeling?
.screen doesn't seem as nice as s3 imo
.is it really 5 inch? :-\ seems smaller
.it's very light :-D

..not saying I might not get one if the right deal came up mind ;-)

...and it was shop demo phone, so might not give best showing

Don't worry about it being too light unless you are thinking of going naked.

You could put a heavy duty case on it and it wouldn't be too heavy. A good case would eliminate any cheap feeling. My s3 feels like quality in its Incipio case.

You must be really use to an AMOLED display which generally boasts deep blacks but oversaturated colors. The Nexus 5 is LCD which and they're generally more known for "natural" colors. As far as pure quality, the S3 is 720p at 4.8 inches while the Nexus 5 is 1080p at 4.95 inches. It might only seem smaller because you're not use to the software buttons which consume about .3 inches. However they vanish if you're watching a full screen video or picture.
