Root [International] Galaxy s 3 vibration problem.?

I am using kit Kat 4.4 carbon Rom and since installing this Rom I have had this issue with the vibration.
I have no vibration on my s3.
Went into settings and nothing. Downloaded an app vibration and still no use.

Can someone tell me what might be the answer to this.?

It could be a coincidence and the vibrator quit just at the same time you were installing the ROM. Then again, every S3 that's been updated even to 4.3 has had a bunch of different bugs, so it could be the ROM.

But we can't do anything from here but make guesses. The phone has to be physically checked out.

That is what I was thinking on doing, I am going to change it to the 16th of March and it will probably work...
This carbon kit Kat Rom is awesome.

Yeah im loving Carbon. Let me know how 16th is mate. A lot of carbon's nightlies wont even flash or boot so its good to know if someone's tried it on same phone.
Ill do the same and post when i flash a working nightly ;)

Hey Allen, and I just flashed the March 19 th kit Kat carbon Rom and I still am having the vibration issue.

I made a factory reset and installed the March 19 carbon Rom, then installed google apps.
And still no vibration.
Is this a bug?
How can I resolve this issue.

Yeah thats what i was gona suggest. Either try a touchwiz rom, restore a stock nandroid or if all else fails, odin back to stock.
I was talkin to a carbon dev and he's never heard of the problem

I am going to try that, I have my old nandroid stock firmware in my hard drive. I am going to try and see what happens and give you feed back about it.

:D

OK, unfortunately stock software did not work either, stock 4.1.2 did not work, so I decided to open my galaxy S 3 I took out all the screws and decided to take a look at the motherboard pin connectors that make contact with the motor vibrater of the galaxy s 3 on the lid screen, and saw that 1 of those pins was bent down in a different direction.

In other words it's a mechanical issue, so in order to repair my galaxy s 3 I would need to buy the entire motherboard because of that only pin that I somehow accidently bent and broke. :banghead:

Ah man thats a bit of a **** :( is there no way to fix that?
I love vibration when im typing etc and when i got my nexus tablet i was raging when i realised it doesnt vibrate but must admit ive got used to it

Well, there is a solution, I would have to buy the galaxy i9300 motherboard with 32 gb of internal memory. I think that might be the solution. Or the other solution would be going to my mobile store, hoping on my insurance may solve it all.
