Root [International] Going Back To Stock

I rooted my phone out of the box 9 months ago. It's never booted up with stock rom so this should be interesting!!

I need to run as stock because I am having problems with multiple freezes to the point where I am pulling the battery everytime I do something, or not!!

Hoping that I will have the same issues running stock so I can return it as I think it must be a hardware issue. Never had problems before tried several different ROMs over the past few days, but when my daily driver (Omega 4.2.1) that has been stable as a rock can't even open from the lock screen without a battery pull, something is wrong!

Wish me luck!!

Well it's been running for a week now, unrooted with that awful Samsung ROM and all the bloatware it installs and I haven't had a single issue, no freezes, FC's anything.

Going to root it again today and go for a different ROM and see what happens.

Gone for a little AOSP action and just flashed Carbon. Just need to get the g'apps package and we should be good to go!

Funny, just been through the same exercise. Had random freezes, locked up phone and so on. Had CM10.1 (4.2.2) and several others (4.1.2 and 4.2.2). Strangely, stock runs just fine ... How annoying. I guess the reason is the fact they never released the sources.

So far I choose stability over functionality so I'll stick with stock for a while. I wish there would be 4.2.2 news.

Early days.

But this Carbon ROM seems to be working OK. I'm guessing it's because it's AOSP and not based on any Samsung ROM.
The only functionality I'm missing is voice activated camera.
