[International / GSM] gps help

hi guys i got a samsung galaxy nexus gsm and for some reason my gps isnt working, like it cant find a satiellite i tried all the tests and even when i rooted it i changed the gps config, i locked it back up and put 4.0.4 stock and updated to jelly bean 4.1.1 stock and still no gps. google maps navigation keeps saying finding gps and on the top left there is no gps indicator that its on

Try this - go to Settings > Location services > remove tick from 'Google's location service; wait a couple of seconds and put the tick back in. Apparently this refreshes the server connection that is in part responsible for satellite fixes. I'm not sure if this works but I've read it somewhere and I guess it's worth a try.
