[International / GSM] Grayed wifi and signal bars

So i updated my gnexus to aokp build 29 (4.0.4) today and backed up from titanium today and now my signal bars are grey. Its not a huge problem because my wifi and data still works perfectly but its just really annoying to look at. Is there any way to fix this?

Gone to Google.com yet? I think Google's servers aren't seeing your phone.

I thought that also but im able to and connect to the play store and stuff which is why im confused

so it turns out i only have this problem after i back up from titanium backup. Is there any way to avoid this?

Just restore user apps & data, not system apps (or "all apps")..that should solve the problem.
