So I've tried searching and still i can't understand how to have better battery life. I've already installed Franco's Kernel and no changes cause i'm not doing anything aside from installing it. I really don't know how custom kernel works and how to customize things to improve my battery. It is my first time to install a kernel and it is easy but it is hard to use FOR ME. Can someone explain it to me cause i really want to learn things. I want to know..

1. What apps should i install to control/customize the CPU? Governor? Sched? and other things for me to have a better battery

2. Let's say i've installed No-frillsCPU (just saw it while searching) how to use it? I don't want to try something i really don't have any idea what it really does cause i've heard that it can brick my phone permanently.

3. Safety measures?

Please do help me, i really want to learn things about android

Franco has an 'Updater app' in the Play Store. It's not free but it does so much more than just update the kernel (there is a free version but all it does is update).

The paid for version has an easy to use interface that controls everything - clock speed, voltage, colours, governors and so much more. One of the best apps on my phone and a must of you use one of Franco's kernels.
