i have lost root access, and cant get into recovery, i get the android with the extermination mark.

any ideas?

If you accepted an OTA update you will loose root and the custom recovery you may have had is replaced by the stock recovery. You'll need to flash your custom recovery again through adb and then flash your rooting file + SU, if that's not included in the root file.
