Its (OTA RootKeeper) a great little app that works wonderfully! Highly recommend it.
It squirrels-away a copy of the su binary to a safe place so that you'll be able to restore root in the event that an OTA removes your root access (due to stripping the suid/guid permissions off of the normal su binary).

sometimes it won't work due to su binary incompatible after ota update
you may have to download super user from market and update it before ota
