[International / GSM] Unlocked, next step...?

So I just unlocked my bootloader and have a, hopefully, quick question.

I saved what I could of pics and such since I knew it would wipe.

If I start to set it up and customize how I had the phone before, will rooting the phone wipe any more data? Or should I just root now?

Rooting doesn't wipe your data again but I would suggest going ahead and rooting if you are going to.
