Ill be taking my phone into my carrier because both of my speakers are going croaky. Ive got the triangle away app but what else do I have to do to get rid of the root and just be stock 4.1.2 again?

you would need to use triangle away(reset the counter) and also flash a stock firmware(remove root and factory reset) from sammobile and thats it you should be good. Just to be sure you need to check the counter you need to go to download mode (vol down + menu) and check there also check the device status in settings --> About device --> Status scroll down to the end and you should see an option for device status make sure it does not say modified.

OKay thanks mate, i think i went the long way about it, this is what i did:

1. I had a kernel originally on it so i flashed stock 4.1.2 to my phone.
2. rooted it, didnt instal kernel but just installed triangle away
3. reset the flash count
4. went into super su and clicked on unroot
5. then factory reset my phone.

when i went into download mode my binary flash says 'no' is that ok?

In download mode current binary should say samsung official also. Make sure you dont have any root apps installed or triangle away. Other than that you should be good to go.

Good advice man.

If all else fails though, connect the phone to the mains n let it cook for a bit lol :P

Yep all deleted mate and no apps on there anymore, all I see when I go into download mode is things say official and samsung, there isnt anything that says custom so I guess its all ok

Is there yellow triangle with an ! In it in (vol down and power mode) ?
Is that supposed to be there?
I get it....
