Root [International] HTC One ClockworkMod problem!

Dude, I can't iństall it :/

Well lets see
after 28 posts we still don't know what carrier your phone is on ... what version of hboot your running. what version of CWM recovery you flashed or how you flashed it ?

We don't know what windows version you have, and your PC is locked and adb / fastboot don't work.

So what exactly would you like to do ?

Anserws: 1) HBOOT - 1.56.0000, S-On, Unlocked, Tampered 2) CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY v6.0.4.6 3) I followed a video I gave a link of that 4) Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bits
I don't know what to do, I just need this phone! Just think something about what to do :(

Maybe let's start at beginning with the phone? If something else not to do

Thank you for the information

have you installed htc sync and then uninstalled it leaving just the drivers? if no do that

here's the last developer edition RUU
you can install it till we figure out what carrier your on and what real RUU you should be using

AndroidRUU | The #1 source for Android RUU files

To use this you have to relock your bootloader
boot the phone to fastboot ...plug in the usb
from your pc adb/fastboot folder
shift + right click / command prompt here

in the window type fastboot devices
you serial number should appear

now type fastboot oem lock
it should lock

now run the RUU on your PC and wait

Yeah, okay mate, i will wait when this RUU is installed.. :) All commands was successfull and HTC One appears for the commands I'm waiting now while RUU is downloaded it is a really big file i see, it downloads it very slowly ;)

I have no ideas what version of TWRP I'm owning but I hope you just recommend me what version is the best to download. :)
I have no ideas what to do those files you give me in this post, RUU is downloading nicely well i don't know if I can use it

You don't currently have TWRP at all - you were using CWM instead. But most people recommend TWRP for the One. The version clsA recommended is fine.

To run the RUU, connect the phone to a PC and boot into the bootloader. It should come up with "fastboot usb" on the screen. If not, use the bootloader menu to select "fastboot". If it says "fastboot" at the top of the screen but not "fastboot usb" then check the cable.

Once in fastboot usb mode, run the RUU .exe on the PC. That's it. It will reflash the phone with stock, unrooted software.

To install TWRP after running the RUU, put the phone into fastboot usb mode again and use the command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" from the computer, where "recovery.img" should be replaced by the name of the TWRP file you downloaded. You presumably have fastboot installed on the computer (you needed it to unlock the bootloader), but if not then the thread I linked in post #11 tells you how to install fastboot as well.

Once you have TWRP installed you can copy the superSU zip to your phone then boot into TWRP and install the zip. But I would take a backup using TWRP before doing that.

You might find it useful to read this thread, especially post 2 which talks through unlocking and rooting a phone in detail, including setting up adb, fastboot and installing drivers: http://androidforums.com/international-one-all-things-root/720478-htc-one-root-thread.html

Yeah, I'm owning this fastboot . I will try out this one when it just finish downloading. Thanks for your anserw. I will post later back if I got this or if i can't understand something, i hope that works! I need the phone on monday.

Well now.. I won't to unlock my phone or root or something well I want to reboot my phone now I will do this and it will take me to Fastboot.. What to do now?

A model ID error? That suggests that you downloaded the wrong RUU, i.e. one intended for a different phone model. Exactly which RUU did you download?

You say that you have an international HTC One, which should be an m7ul, but you never said whether you bought it offline/SIM-free or from a network. Once again, information will be needed to identify the correct RUU. In fact, if the phone is in fastboot mode why not try the command "fastboot getvar all" and post what you get back (edit out your IMEI number though - best not to post them on the web).

Ah, I'd not spotted that that was a link to a particular RUU rather than just to the site!

That's also a specific US network RUU. If you bought your phone through a network we'll need to know which network in order to find an RUU which will work (unless you bought it from somewhere like Carphone Warehouse who sell unbranded handsets). Please give us as much information as you can about the phone, because otherwise we can't find the files you need. Remember that we only know what you tell us, so right now we don't even know what country you are in.

Did you found something?

The developer edition RUU works for many different devices ( 16+ to be exact) I guess yours is not one of them.

To get your exact RUU
We need results from

fastboot getvar all

minus your IEMI and Serial no

Thank you! Downloading it. :)

Yeah sorry you had to download 2 files today

To avoid confusion and for completeness

After flashing a RUU you phone will be in new out of the box condition.

the steps to get it rooted are

  1. unlock bootloader at htcdev.com
  2. fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
    fastboot erase cache
    fastboot reboot-bootloader
  3. enter recovery and exit and choose install SuperSU on exit
  4. bootup phone, go to app drawer and choose SuperSU, it will ask to update, let it update and choose TWRP for install. this will reboot the phone.
  5. You now have a new phone with custom recovery and Root.
