Root [International] If I Root Can I Return To An Older ROM?

My galaxy s3 came with 4.1 installed. Yesterday it updated to 4.3 and I hate it. If I root can I reinstall 4.1 and then unroot?

I dont think so. I think once youre on 4.3, trying to roll back will kill the phone.
If youre up for rooting you should try a custom rom instead. Android 4.3 and 4.4 are great, its just samsungs bastardised version thats crap :thumbup:

What do you hate about it btw? My neice took the update and to me it seems better than the 4.1 samsung builds

You don't have to root to install a ROM, but do you HAVE a 4.1 GS3 ROM to flash?

Since updating to 4.3 it's 'not registered on the network'. Samsung said I've got to go to a service centre to get it flashed. If I root will it solve this?
