Root [International] Migrating from Droid X in July

dlion16

Newbie
i have a rooted droid x and about 70 apps, including titanium backup.

i preordered the s3, and i plan to root it.

while waiting...

is there a way to copy all my apps to a new folder on the sim card, mount it in the s3, dl titanium from the play store, then have ti restore all the apps?

should i copy the folder to computer, format the sim in the s3, then load the folder on it? (i have 2 years of droid x misc files on the sim.) what else could/should i salvage (pix...) from the sim (i have a full backup on computer.)?

thanks.

Sure, in settings in Titanium Backup you can select which directory to use as the backup folder, select one on the external SD, put that in the S3, change the backup folder to match your existing backup folder on the external card, restore your apps. You can copy to computer, but a bit more roundabout and unnecessary.
