Root [International] Note 2 bricked

Hello, I have got my note 2 stuck at samsung logo and when I tried recovery mode, it says : E:FAILED TO MOUNT /EFS. As somebody suggested, I have flashed stock rom through odin but no help. I would appreciate any quick help.

Some info on the problem:
Can boot into recovery (CWM)
Can access download mode
Problem happened after complete battery drain

Thanks in advance.

This should be in the root section for proper help and support, I'll move it to the International root section for you, cheers

Have you tried to wipe data? In doing so you loose everything you have on the phone like apps, documents, settings etc. If that does not help, I would try to flash the ROM again with Odin, in case something went wrong the first time. I guess you don't have many other options.

Maybe I misunderstood you, sorry. Did it brick before or after you flashed? If it was before, reflashing will most likely not help. You say "stock rom", what version ROM did you have before and what version did you flash? I'm wondering about the bootloader. Also, the " E:FAILED TO MOUNT /EFS" failure is an indication of something wrong with the IMEI number as far as I know. If you need that you'll find it under the battery.

Yes, it bricked before any flashing. I assume that the earlier version was N7100DDUFND1 and i reflashed it with N7100XXUFNE1 but it didnt helped with the EFS issue. what about the bootloader?

I must admit that i am pretty noob in rooting etc and trying all these after learning different method posted on net.

thanks.

Did you try to wipe the data prtition? With version I was looking for what Android version you went from and to. It looks like you had 4.4.2 before and after flashing? The ting is, if you try to go from 4.4.2 down to 4.3 it will brick. I have read sombody being able to unbrick it by reflashing 4.4.2, but I have no experience myself. Thats where, to my knowledge the compatabillity with the bootloader comes in. Also, the Knox system can be triggered by custom ROM, rooting, downgrading etc. but here I have no knowledge exept do anything you can not to trigger it.

The problem arised before any rom flashing. There was no downgrading and i flashed the stock rom just to resolve this problem. Is there any way i cant find or regenerate EFS if i dont have a copy of it?

I screwed up a Galaxy Mini, running 2.3.4, about a year ago. Found a multi language and multi CSC rom, 2.3.5. Flashed the rom and went to choose the correct CSC. Here it asked for the IMEI, and after entering that it started up normally. I guess it made a new EFS folder. A multi CSC ROM to Note 2 is probably not easy to find.
