Root [International] ParanoidAndroid + HDMI ?

honestly cant see a reason why not mate. just make sure its specicicly an s3 adaptor, not s2 or anythin else.
if not, jst return it :)
 
I certainly have the proper Samsung one but those roms miss a lot branded stuff as it relies on the Samsung framework (stock camera being one example). I wonder if the HDMI adapter requires any Samsung app to work.All Share Cast or something. Might just have to try it but would be a bummer if it won't work because of it.
 
I think HDMI out is proprietary and will only work on Samsung roms as there is no documentation for devs to get it working :(

Thats a shame .. I am quite happy with Paranoid Rom but that might just be the tip of the iceberg now .. there are quite a few bugs I can live with but we watch a LOT of HDMI videos via my phone (used to take hours to convert them for the iPad) ...
 
A shame I don't have tons of disposable cash otherwise I would get an S3 just to play with - my contract is due to renewal in 5 months, maybe I am getting an S4 then and keep the S3 as glorified MP3 player and Rom testing :)

My ROM suddenly got so unstable that I had to remove it now anyways - currently thinking about buying a Nexus 7 as my playground so might give it another shot on a non-essential device :)
