Root [International] Problem since ive rooted?

Ever since ive been rooted my music player keeps deleting my playlist. I would make a playlist and about a week later its mysteriously been deleted, im not sure if this has anything to do with it but my music is stored on my ExtSD card and I have heard problems with Sd card and the s3. Could someone help please :D
 
well are you by any chance using "SGS3 Easy UMS", if you are that would cause ure external memory to be unmounted in the phone and mounted in the pc which would delete the playlist as it would not have any songs left.
 
Thanks for the reply, but Sorry im fairly new to rooting and that, but what is S3 easy UMS? All I know about my phone is thats its stock rooted on 4.1.2 and running kernel siyah 1.8.6.
 
thats a very strange issue sorry cant really think of anything else that could cause this it normally would happen if the external sd card has been un mounted for some reason. I dont think it has anything to do with rooting the phone.
 
Although the music is on Ext Sd.... the music player is on int' sd so isnt that where the playlist data would be?
 
ya i used to do that as well but if ure using a cover for the phone like the Kraken or Otterbox its very difficult to open the phone up and take the memory card out.

And showing off with. your fancy cases lol.
Takes 2secs with my indoor 99p (inc delivery) excelent rubber case lol. Bounces across my wooden floor like a bouncing ball :)

Link? I just use ma 99p one (tyre tread imprint) and a slghtly more expensive fake leather samsung vertical flip case for my pocket.
Nxt i want a camoflage coloured case :)
I have the black carbon vinyl "decalgirl" skin (basicly just a rugged sticker that goes round the bezel and over most of the batt' door changin the colour but gona change it for pure black n then put a camoflage cover on it mmm :)
I hate the military but camo' is sexy man :)
 
Looks like a storm trooper in white :)
Im determined my nxt case is gona be cammoflage colour, itl look so hot with my phone colour :)

White but ive got 1 of those Decalgirl sticker kits on the bezel and back (totaly recomended) i had pics but lost them, ive got the black carbon effect but might go for plain matte black nxt :)
(White was only colour available at time but im a glasgow celtic (soccer) fan so blue would have been unacceptable lol :)
