I just took my first trip to Europe with my Captivate. While there I could not get my corporate email service (which is setup via exchange activesync) to push email. The only way I could get email was to open the email application. It would then force a sync and update. The gmail push (with gmail app) seamed to work fairly well although delayed.
As soon as I landed on US soil yesterday, push was instantaneous. I am coming from Blackberry so I am used to seamless push everywhere in the world. I have talked to some iPhone users and they indicate similar issues. So is this just an exchange thing that I have to live with or is there something that I can do to improve performance?
