Lol Sid, I haven't plucked up the courage to ask yet, that and the whole little thing where some variants apparently cannot be rooted at the moment etc, so in general I'd rather not make it easier for people to have then brick their phone! Lol

A full and comprehensive, "Dummies Guide", for rooting the Samsung Galaxy S4 is already on the cards, with a slightly more user friendly layout. The last one, for the S2, took a week to write and re-write, check and re-check, and then evolved over a period of 18 months or so.

The S4 was only released a couple of weeks ago and I am still awaiting mine and also letting the dust settle first to see what common problems and questions should be included in it not to mention that it is still very early days and that various methods of rooting will emerge along with ancillary software.

Woo, I really didn't wanna be held responsible ;-)

I've rooted already, just a little scared to flash any Roms(being there is only really one, and I'm sure it advises flashing correct stock first, so think I'll leave it a lil while)

On another note....glad to see your coming this direction ironass, I'm sure I'll require your help once I do start flashing away

Time to get stuck in all over again! My S4 is waiting for me at home. No idea of version however . Its an EE one for the 4G.

Your the same as us.lol easy enough to root personally I've not flashed a recovery yet due to the instability, so nor have I flashed any Roms.... kie has though.lol

I'm going to wait for something more substantial. I'd want to overclock especially seen as Sammy took a dump on us with the quad core chips. That may not be a bad thing as scores still suggest a substantial rise over previous models but its still very disapointing. Real Racing 3 still doesnt feel smooth during play. Maybe it wont ever but I cant help eel somewhat overwhelmed. Especially as I wanted to see a Chainfire 3d enhanced version of the game. Early days I know. I shall see.
