double click Odin 3v3.04, then double click Odin 3v3.04 again on the next screen. It should then ask for permission to make changes, so press yes.

Tick the box next to pda and then press pda and find the cfroot .tar and add. DO NOT tick or untick any other boxes.
Go to developer options on your phone and turn on usb debugging, then turn off your phone.
Hold power, volume down and home until your phone boots and then press volume up to enter download mode.
Attach to your pc with usb cable and press start on Odin.
You should hopefully be rooted a couple of minutes later.

Try this custom kernel. It's already in .tar format so no need to extract anything. It's flashed exactly the same way as cfroot

Cool.... this is gona give me that old bug i swore id leave behind with a phone i cant afford like the s3 lol. What rom u runnin m8?

Just put it on your desktop so it's easy to find when you enter it into Odin. I wouldn't worry about that comment. I suggested to use a kernel and had to edit my post because I didn't post the link.
