Root [International] S3 NeatROM

Thats a bummer man. Id thought someone would be able to crack it somehow. I might just give 4.2.2 a try though and live without the overclocking. Is 4.2.2 fast/smooth compared to 4.1.2 mate or just the same performance-wise?

Im guessing there wont be a Jkay framework to match yet either then?

Thanks bud. 4.2.2 is nearly downloaded so im gona give it a try but ive just done a nandroid so if i cant live without my tweaks ill just go back :thumbup:
 
i tried 4.2 in the begging when the leak first happened found a few missing features and my tasker was not working the way it should so i reverted back to 4.1.2.
 
Is there a developer options in the new settings menu mate?
im gona go back to 4.1.2 once ive played with this a bit. At 1st i thought i was imagining it but it is really sluggish feeling although it performs ok in benchmarks :thumbup:
 
from the best of my recollection there was an option for developer but they had a trick to activating it.

How to Enable USB Debugging and Developer Options on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean:

Go to – Settings > About phone.
Then move on to Build number option
Tap on Build number repeatedly about 7 times.
This is enough.
After touching 7th time you will see a message that, “you are now a developer”.
Now the option will be placed in Settings menu. Normally it placed under System in Settings menu. Then you can enable it in Developer Options and Android Debugging.
 
Thanks mate. Ive restored my nandroid now though lol. Didnt find anything that made me want to keep 4.2.2 yet tbh :)
 
Don't be alarmed when you're in the recovery next time and can't find you sd card. Because 4.2 moves the filesystem around you have to look around to find everything. I didn't realise this and panicked like mad :p hehe

I might give the latest leak a go soon, sounds interesting :)
 
@Funky i would have like to see the S4 type features (smart scroll/smart pause) that they are supposed to give in s3 with 4.2.1 sounded interesting which is why i had downloaded it but those features were not working.
 
So will my memory still be messed up after restoring my 4.1.2 nandroid mate?
Aye Silent i was kinda hoping for something there worth having but it just felt bloated with no features i want. Think ive talked myself into going AOSP ;)
 
What I noticed after flashing this is that every single google download (automatic ones using google restore) failed. Had to re add the account to kick off the downloads. Only issue I have seen so far.

A Little bit underwhelmed with 4.2.2 (Rom is awesome though as always).

Forgot a nandroid though (d'oh) so leave it on now. Google / Samsung and Nova Backup is all I need anyway to bring back the system 95% ..
