Root [International] S3 NeatROM

My phones running slow.
It doesnt beat the one x even at 1.6ghz on Quadrant (i know benchmarks arent important but i use quadrant as a reference point to check the health of my phone)
Im running Neat Lite 1.6 and Siyah.
recomendations?
Should i do a full wipe when i flash 1.7?
Factory reset, CW wipe or both? Thanks :)

Best of luck for the upcoming wedding. Best face is a great feature. For example if ure taking a picture of a group of 5 people it will take the picture then give u option of selecting the face for each of the 5 people(in case someone eyes are closed in one snap or for any other reason) so for each person in the photo you can click on the face and it will give you about 2 to 5 options and you can select which face you want for each person then save the snap. I dunno why its not working now :(

What goes wrong when u try it? I only hav a girl, 2snakes, a giant snail and a cat to test it on right now lol :)

no the aokp camera does not have it it's a touchwiz Samsung thing. when i try it the camera just freezes and nothing works needto press home button and then reload the camera

On an odexed ROM apps have data outside of the apk so for apps to run the os has to get data from various places. Deodexed compresses all this so everything is stored in the .apk. This makes it easier to theme as you only have to theme one apk opposed to the apk and the data elsewhere. I think
 
If i install latest version of neat, do i have to install the aroma again?
im still on v1.6 Lite, what difference will i notice between Lite and the latest Full (above)

good question funky i would like to know the same thing. I have downloaded the 1.7 lite from xda was just waiting to flash it. I am also hoping it will resolve some issues i am having best face not working phone keeps hanging very often and i have to either remove battery or long press power to restart phone.

i can answer the question you would need to install aroma again if you update to the latest version. I am just assuming that the diff between the lite and normal version is the lite version is more optimized with less bloatware.

How bout the "best face" bug mate? Do u know if thats been addressed?
We got let down at last minute for a dedicated camera so mine was the best phone camera at the wedding and best face would have prob' been handy :)

Oh yeah the mrs bought a galaxy ace (original [gingerbread] single core, 800mhz)
U got any idea how hackable is and what speed it can be clocked to?
Im determined to make her research and hack it herself if she gets sick of the lag :)
Aparently the Ace 2 is gettin JB soon but thats dual core.

well tbh the new rom does not work at all for me my phone has gone to the dogs i cant do anything on it it just keeps freezing over and over again with neatrom i have since then installed omega again as my second rom and that works flawlessly. When u install the aroma file it will ask you which kernel and all u want to install at that time just select siyah.
