Root [International] Samsung S3 gaming lag.

About the lag- I have been experiencing it to and it's more of a software issue by Samsung. You will have to wait till 4.2.2 to get this issue fixed. As we all know JB for galaxy s3 has several bugs and Samsung has been very careless...

Donot overclock GPU just for fun! With these settings you can brick your phone! The voltages for every step are not the same and have to be manually adjusted!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827635 here follow this guide. It's for Stweaks and siyah.

Each gpu step comes with its pre set voltage so if you increase to 533, 640, 733, 800 you have also increased the voltage for each step.

I really have no idea bro . Dont actually understand what these settings mean but would like to know , when adjusting the GPU settings as such , do we need to adjust the CPU as well or can they be adjusted individually . Ive heard where the CPU s concerned the overclocking and voltage go in tandem and problems might arise if its not . Cheers Mate .

Yeah with overclocking, for example whenever i set my CPU to 1.8Ghz, the phone would reboot so the guys on here tought me that its because it wasnt gettin enough voltage for that step so i had to increase the voltage for the 1.8 step and now it doesnt reboot at 1.8.
I 'think/hope' what SG is sayin is that when u change the speed of a GPU step, the voltage will automaticly suit it?

What voltage do you run when you over clock your CPU mate ?

All of my CPU steps run fine without altering their default voltage mate (if i wasnt so lazy id try under-volting them to save battery) i set the 1.8Ghz step to maximum voltage in STweaks just to make it work but it will probably run at a lower voltage than that and save some battery life. I never use 1.8Ghz anyway, didnt see any performance improvement with it

Yep, that's the one. I still wouldn't recommend running it at 533, 640, 733, 800 though. Although it will be stable (well in the short run) I have no idea what that sort of overclocking will do in the long run

Hey guys even I got problems With gaming my phone lags very badly even playing games like subway surfer and while scrolling down the menu any help would be appreciated and I Haven't rooted ma phone yet

Hey mate. U could try booting into recovery (turn off then hold in volume up, power and home at same time) then use volume keys to navigate to Clear Cache Partition then press Home key to select it.
Also make sure you dont have Power Saving mode on

Lol dont thank me mate i have no suggestions tbh but the antutu score seems okish so why are games lagging?

Just did an antutu and got 1300 and subway surfer runs flawlessly. Have u tried a factory reset mate? Id root the phone, back up your apps with Titanium Backup then factory reset it

You can check out the Helium app for backing up everything unrooted mate but its maybe a lot easier to just root and then use Titanium Backup

Hey dude subway surfer not lagging that much but still there is lag while scrolling down and playing games like Temple run oz and dungeon hunter any idea about this and thanks for help mate
