Root [International] Selling my S3 - how to reset to default?

Hi guys,

Currently running an Omega ROM on my S3 but I've just upgraded to a Note 3 and was wondering how to reset the S3 to default firmware + settings etc before selling it?

Hi as you're clearly familiar with flashing and more than like Odin... have a look here -> Firmwares | SamMobile You'll need to locate your device and carrier, simply download the file (you'll need to be a member) and flash via odin. This will put a stock rom back on, and will remove root and your custom recovery.

Thanks mate, but unfortunately I've got slow internet (50kb/s) and my browser is telling me there is 1 day+ left to download the 1.1GB file. My internet sometimes disconnects so it will be near impossible for me to download this file!

Does anyone know of any other websites you can download from? Perhaps a torrent file...

Much appreciated.
 
Not sure about a torrent. If you post an exact link to the file you want I'll download and upload it to box for you.
P. S do you get the yellow triangle while the phone boots?
 
I'd just sell it rooted and not mess about with trying to reset it to stock. Unless there is a reason to do it.
 
Got any hotels or fast food restaurants around? You could try going to one and sit in the parking lot and use free WiFi.
 
Man I'm having problems here. I can't seem to do that anti spam puzzle without a PC. Could anyone do it for the guy pleeease?
If no one's done it in an hour il see if someone will do it for me :beer:

Even if its uploaded to dropbox, the file will still take an ages wont it dues to your internet connection? :confused:
 
Hey mate I don't use a PC and the captcha thing won't work for me on android so i can't make an account. If you can make an account and give me the login details I'll get it for ya :thumbup:
