Root [International] Storage optimized Rom?

I am getting the S4 at the end of the month but I won't sell my S3. I intend to use it mainly as SatNav and music / movie player.

Does anyone know which ROM offers the best local storage (smallest ROM)?

It would probably be Cyanogen i think man. Its pretty tiny then remove things u dont need like browser, dialer etc. Then i think youll have to change the storage partition to free up more user storage :thumbup:

Any AOSP ROM is going to be MUCH smaller than touchwiz


Its not going to increase the data partition though. You'll just have a bunch of empty system space

How "easy" is it to just tweak what size you want the system partition to be mate and what are the risks?

I'm using an AOSP ROM now.



As you can see (hopefully my attachment worked), there is just a bunch of empty system space, and your data partition doesn't change.

As far as messing with partition sizes, that's not something you'll want to do.

If you're going to be using it as a media device, I'd suggest just putting it on an SD card.

i changed the partition on my 1st android but i really had to in that case. I doubt ill ever have to on the s3
