Root [International] Superuser problems on s4

I have a s4 that I rooted with motochopper. And the super user doesn't work and it ask me to install it but it fails every time. I also got supersu and it says there is no binary. So I need help getting my super user to work. Also I am very new to this so I don't know what it means to flash a phone

Hello and welcome to Android Forums Wrestling103?

Lets see if we can sort you out. 3 things...

1. What is your model of phone?
(Settings > More > About device > Model nunber)

2. Can you post a link to the method you used to root your phone.

3. Can you download and install Root Checker from the Play Store and run it to make sure that you are in fact rooted.

My model number is SCH-R970

Oh and I guess I'm not doing something right... It says I don't have root access

Could u help me out?!
 
It is an American model so may get more help in another thread, otherwise you could check out the dummies guide to rooting for some tips, but ensure you have the correct firmware etc....best bet is probably wait for one of the guys with the same phone to help you :-)
 
Otherwise, just for giving more info....can you type *#1234# into your dialer and tell us what comes up....it might be possible to use a different firmware to root it!

okay i did all the above steps and it says it passed on the odin. it rebooted fine and what not. and now i am on superuser and it says installing but it has not got passed that point yet
 
Delete SuperSU on the phone in Settings > More > Applications and re-install from the Play Store, see #2.5, and check the SuperSu settings and then re-boot.
