Root Internet browser won't stay open!

I'm not sure why you are having that problem, but Kaos Froyo is not my favorite by any means. I'd try Nonsensikal instead and see if that works for you. Do a Nandroid backup first so you can go back if you need to, and don't forget to wipe data before you flash Nonsensikal.

Ok, I just saw your other post: http://androidforums.com/eris-all-things-root/249376-cant-decide-rom.html

CELB is a fine choice - it is what I use every day - but I hesitate to recommend it to beginners, as it requires that you download and flash the Google apps package - they are not preloaded into CELB.

So, the steps are:

- download CELB and the Google apps .zip files and copy them both to your SD card
- restart in Recovery
- [optional] Nandroid backup
- wipe data/factory reset (very important!)
- flash CELB
- flash Google apps
- restart the phone

If this sounds too confusing to you, or too much work, try Nonsensikal instead. There is no need for the Google apps flash with Nonsensikal.
