Internet connection

[Android Question]

Have a droid, verizon, all of a sudden cannot connect to internet, re
gardless if I'm in my house or 5 miles away, was texting a friend, now can't text anybody

Welcome to Android Forums.

Data service loss is usually a product of the service provider, not the phone.
It wouldn't hurt to call Verizon and ask if there is an outage.
