Internet getting slower and slower

I got this phone in the spring and it was lightening fast. Even faster than my computer.

It started getting slower after about a month. It seemed to get just a little bit slower every day. Now it barely loads pages. I often have to reload pages. And I usually have one bar unless I am on top of a mountain.

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Samsung just wants me to send it in.

I call BS. There has to be something I can do isn't there?

I know nothing about phones. Thanks!

ps, I did mention it to a friend and she cleared something from the memory and it performed a bit faster for a couple days, but then plunged back once again.

When my phone is running slow, I:
- Run through my text message history, save any pics and vids to SD and delete the messages from the text history. Also, I prune out as many old texts as I can. That stuff adds up fast, and I know this has made improvements.
- Uninstall apps that I don't use that may be running in the background. Too much stuff runs in the background anyway.
- I use a free app called "Task Killer" which can kill all open tasks, and even clear out open processes from memory when you click the button.

One other thing to check is if there are multiple windows open in the browser. Sometimes I'm having slow performance, and then I realize that I have 3 windows open for some reason.

If your a rooted user what I've found to work is back up my apps that I deem must keep with titanium back up and do a complete wipe of the phone and restore your must keep apps. If your not a root user then do a backup using "mybackup" doing this could or couldn't work but it helps if you do this one every month or 2 to prevent your phone from slowing to a crawl. It's worked for me. To the first reply a task killer is almost useless as once you kill tasks. 90% of what was terminated starts right back up. Once the memory starts to get full, the android OS kills what it feels shouldn't be running to free up memory.
