Internet is forcing close

Every time I touch the Internet widget it says that is going to have to force a close. I have no other problems (that I know of) with any other apps or phone functions. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do???

Here's a wild guess for you...
Did you by any chance change from a 2.1 ROM to a 2.2 ROM (or vice versa) and copy bookmarks over? I've done that before and it really made Internet cranky.
Try going into applications, find Internet and clear both cache and data, see if that helps.

The same thing happened to me last week. I saved my bookmarks with Titanium Backup and restored them on a Froyo rom. I went to the bookmarks save in Titanium backup and cleared the data and it worked fine.
