Internet is slowww

[Joga2323]

Most times it takes literally minutes to load a webpage. Is there anything I can do to fix the slowness? I'm using dolphin browser and android 2.1. Is it my network or the phone? I'm on O2 in the UK.

Thanks

Is it the same on wifi and 3g/H? I have toyed with Opera too and found that quicker on loading pages but i still keep going back to the stock browser if i am at home and using wifi. 3g/H really depends where you are and how strong the signal is, I have found that if you are on the move it is dire! Also the level of complexity of the page you are trying to load effects it too.

I hardly ever use the wifi so it's mostly on 3G. It doesn't matter if I'm travelling or stationary. It's just slow. I have done head to heads with some colleagues with their smart phones and they always get to the pages lightning quick compared to me. And some of them are on the same network as me! This is the only downside to the phone so was hoping to alleviate the problem somehow.
