Internet pass thru.

Plug your phone into your computer and then when the 'choose a connection type:' comes up select 'internet pass-through'! Then you phone will use your computers internet connection!

If you have a default option selected then drag the notifications bar down and then select the connection you have to make a change! Will say 'Select to change USB connection type'!

That works for me without changing anything on my computer, except installing HTC Sync from here!
 
Well I believe so! If you turn it on without HTC Sync installed then the phone will moan at you saying it cant find HTC Sync on the computer and then it doesnt work and returns to charge only!
 
I think the internet application is the default one so first you will need to clear that as the default browser!

Goto Settings>Application>Internet and click Clear Defaults!

Then load up the internet application and then it will come up with a box saying which browser to use! Select Opera Mini and check the box underneath to make it the default web browser!
