Help Internet Problem

New to forums, but this internet problem is a pain in the arse.

Been using internet brilliantly for about a month on HTC Desire right up to a couple of days ago after an update. Now it refuses to connect to any type of internet, 3G or WiFi.

I'm on contract with 3 (despite bad repuation in the past they appear to have caught up with other providers), but am still waiting to see if it is a problem on their side.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
 
I believe so.

Received a prompt stating an update. Programmes were added onto the menu's after the update (i.e. WiFi hotspot and flashlight)
 
It could be that your APN settings have been disabled. Check , Settings - Wireless & networks - Mobile networks - Access Point Names. Mine disapeared after update and I had to call my ISP ( vodafone) or go to your ISP website for the settings to re-enable them. HTH
