Help Internet problem??

well, i want to connect to my laptop's internet with my desire, but there are problems.
In order to go on internet i have to enter username and password and connect.
I know that i can't use laptop's internet over usb but i tried connectify-me, it turns my laptop in wifi hotspot and then i can connect over wifi with my desire.
But there is a problem, when i install connectify-me i can't connect to internet, i don't know why it wont establish connection. It only works if you have internet access through Local area connection, you just plug the cable.

Is there any solution to use my laptop's internet, wifi or bluetooth, or to connect to internet without having to dial connection.

Desire is not rooted.

One solution is to use a LAN cable to connect the laptop to router and then use wifi hotspot to connect Desire.

Another solution would be to use a USB Wifi stick that will function as a second adapter to connect Desire.
 
Laptop does have cable connection to modem/router but i read somewhere that i need to enable router mode or something.
It would be much easier that i don't need username and password to connect.

Then you can use my fist suggestion. Use Connectify to make a hotspot from your latptop.
Essentially, internet comes in via cable by using your Laptop's LAN adapter.
Internet gets out (shared) via wireless by using your Laptop's WiFi adapter.
 
I've been doing that all the time, but when i intall connectify, i can create wifi hotspot, but i can't connect to internet, it wont let me. When i deinstall it, everything functions normally, but no connectify - no wifi hotspot.
I tried other similar programs, same thing, but when go to my friend who have direct internet connection (he plugs the cable and he is ready to go), it works, there is nothing for connectify to disable or something...
I'm starting to freaking out :)
 
i recently got a Samsung Galaxy ace....and i am trying to share my laptop internet on my mobile.....facing the same issues as above.
When i install connectify i am not able to connect to the internet and when i uninstall it everything is fine.
Please help.
