Help Internet sound during screen lock?

Hi forum.

I am a new HTC user (5 days and counting). So far I have been very impressed with my new desire. However I seem to be having trouble getting sound playback through the internet (BBC iplayer) once the screen is locked as this cuts out internet sound. I enjoy using my phone to catch up on radio shows I have missed while doing other things with the phone in my pocket.

Is there a setting or app that will allow internet sound playback after I lock the screen like I am able to do for music playback?

Some videos on YouTube I would like to listen to but don't need video... Also I have some sound files I am using from a website to practice Korean...

Therefore I want to use the browser but don't need the screen... Also dont really need a lock..

So settings would be
1. Screen off
2. Phone unlocked
3. Browser still functioning


I am using an HTC Desire HD...
