Internet switch

Been playing about with new launcher apps, as opposed to 'sense'. Currently trying launcher ex. My only issue is finding a toggle to switch off my internet, like I could do on sense. Tried the apn route, but that didn't work...

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Yes just use the power control widget that comes with android,it does exactly the same as the htc widgets and more.

I bought "switch pro" from the market. Lets you add up to 8 different toggles for various things. Only costs about 50p if I remember correctly.

And failing that Extended Controls is an excellent customizable widget that you can put any number of toggle switches on. It costs a pound or two, but it's well worth it.

I would agree, I use Extended Controls myself and just love how easy it is to customise..really worth it..

actually this is incorrect. The only 'internet' controls on the default android power widget is Wifi and AutoSyncing, there is no mobile connection control, which is what I believe the OP is after..

rtb is running GingerVillain, which comes with a power control widget which does have this feature. Has probably forgotten what does or does not come with stock firmware (I know I have!).

woops sorry i assumed it was a feature that came with stock android and not a feature of gingervillain.

hadron you are correct lol

thats +1 for gingervillain me thinks :)

Thanks folks.

Went for my first paid app - 'Extended Controls' - does the job nicely!!!

Cheers....

ah, that seems a good explanation lol I forgot myself that the gingervillian rom had that as 'standard' when I was briefly running it.

if im correct in thinking it was a feature ported from CM wasnt it?
