internet usage

Hi folks, i just recently got the htc desire hd, a great phone except it's doing my head in that it uses up my internet usage without me actually doing anything!! can anyone help please??

Check your various home screens for widgets. Delete any of these widgets that you don't regularly use as they use data whether you use the app or not.

Also you might want to consider purchasing/installing a third party app like "3G Watchdog Pro". It'll provide you specific details of what is using your data...
