internet very slow

At work my mates have iPhone and can check Facebook and youtube....... at a fair speed with the standard browsers. This does not help with the android v iphone debate!! My internet browsing is Very slow very annoying any ideas? I have downloaded opera mobile but no better.WiFi good.

If anything, use X Scope browser; it's the fastest Android browser out there. Also make sure you're on WiFi, cuz they probably are if you're a lot slower than they are lol.

What network and what symbol does your phone display in the signal area?

I'm on o2 and it shows a G with the arrows bellow it. They can't get on the WiFi because its not working. It's doing my head in!!

The "G" symbol is 2G speeds and that's very slow!
You might want to try going somewhere more open.... Or phone O2 and see if they can do anything on their end...

I find the standard browser the fastest in my oppinion...
Couldnt get on with Dolphin HD but its down to the user...

If the internet is running slow or lags as it does occasionly i find quickly reseting the phone effortless does the trick and brings the phone running back to full speed...

If it is still running slow on the internet and your on WiFi it will be down to the WiFi signal and it will proberly run smoother and quicker if you move closer to the WiFi device...
