hello, i purchased a Htc Vivid from Ebay last week, and when i connect to the net, it always goes offline and says 'Emergency Calls Only'
whats this problem all bout ?? is it with the phone ?

I am not sure if it is a problem with the phone, or maybe has something to do with your service provider, or plan. I would call your service provider from another phone, and they may be able to help you decipher the problem, or they may recommend that you take it in so they can work with it.
You may have to send it to the HTC service center if it turns out to be a problem with the phone, but check out all of the other options first.
There may even be a technician associated with your service provider in your city. Good luck.:) Let us know what you find out.
 
I am so glad to hear that! I know how frustrating it can be to get a new phone, and have it malfunction. It's all good now though!:)
