Greetings to all. After years of using a company paid basic cell phone, I decided to purchase a personal smart phone. I went with a Sprint family plan and chose the Htc Hero, Mrs Blackberry, daughter Palm pre+. So far I'm pretty impressed. It certainly has it's quirks but the positive attributes make it worth the trouble. I have considered switching to the Motorola but really don't like the physical keyboard and extra weight although I have always been satisfied with Motorola's build quality. I can't believe the apps. I was working on a CAT scan unit recently and needed a level. I downloaded and installed a level quicker than it would have taken to walk down to my shop and get one, amazing. Barcode scanning.. standing in the Sony store looking at TVs and scanned the barcode to do a price check. I had numerous price references on my phone instantaneously and was able to make a decision on the spot.
