Whatsup guys/girls,

I am a long time Apple user, own most everything under the sun technology-wise, and am actually a technology teacher/coordinator in a major public school district. Believe it or not, I never have owned a smart phone, although I use them, teach kids about them, and fix them for others quite often. I was recently given an Incredible 2 in great condition by a friend because my old crappy samsung intensity finally died and she happened to have upgraded to a new phone a couple of weeks ago. Purchased an Otterbox Defender and a 16gb card, did some reading, downloaded a bunch of apps, did more reading, downloaded more apps, and now I am off and running with this fantastic phone. As a die-hard Apple enthusiast, who did not know much about Android before this, I have to say, I am in love. I finally realized It's not like a mac/pc thing. Not a big fan of pc's so I just assumed never give Android the time of day. How ignorant I was! I definitely love this phone equally if not more than my wife's iPhone 4s...Looking forward to learning as much as I can on here and perhaps even upgrading to a brand new android based phone when my upgrade is available.

Welcome to the forums! And to the world of Android... it's often a bumpy ride but the smooth parts can be pretty awesome! :)
