Thats right folks you heard it, rbheromax, kalisto2002 and I have been working on Cyanogenmod 11 for the sprint and cricket variants. It is a definite Alpha as of right now, I felt that we had enough working to release a version for testing.

Whats working so far:

Cricket:
RIL (data/4G LTE & Voice services)
MMS (texting and Multimedia Work)
Audio (all Audio working)
Sensors ( G Sensor/ Proximity Sensor/ Light Sensor all work)
Display ( Ofc Display works :p)
Mic ( Voice Recording/In call mic all work)
Wifi ( Yes finally fixed wifi Thank you rbheromax)
Bluetooth ( Bluetooth works and pairs)

Sprint:
Not sure (we need a sprint/VM/Boost activated tester)

Not working:

Cricket/Sprint
Camera (Front and rear cameras not working

So that’s the run down, as you can see we need a tester on a sprint carrier to test the rom and see what works and doesn’t.

PS. rbheromax was gracious enough to port the MSM8974 kernel to our device. CM11 will not use a stock based kernel. This means we will have the most recent updates for our kernel from cyanogenmod themselves! Please be sure to show rbheromax your gratitude!

If someone with boost variant can do
adb shell
getprop

find the line named
ro.boot.mid
post the result here, only the virgin mobile variant has been added to the ril

In addition I need a copy of the Virgin mobile and Boost mobile build.prop files

Just Got it flashed on Boost. works good so far. Phone Works and Wifi Works. What about Gapps?

I got the gapps but do I need to reInstall TWRP?cant find it
ok. got the apk installed and Gapps on but it wont connect to playStore for some reason.

Updated rom link, working on trying to update the kernel link, mediafire is being a pita right now.... Data should work for users on Sprint/Boost/VM, install and report back. Will have to update the kernel link in a little bit, you can install this over top of the existing kernel for now.

EDIT: Had to upload the kernel to Mega, Mediafire isn’t working for me right now.....

I am on Virgin Mobile USA. I tried your Rom several days ago.

I had to do a Factory wipe to load Rom. TWRP would error out when I tried to install on stock Rom. Got install error with just a cache and delvic wipe...

Anyway, what I was able to confirm was that voice and data did not work for me on first try. I happen to use a fix for resolving voice/data on Virgin Mobile. It was posted by Mopedryder somewhere else in the forums.

After I loaded his fix, the Data worked and Voice did not. I also tried manually setting the Virgin Mobile APN but that did not work for me either. I could only get Data to work (with LTE). I could not further troubleshoot because I had to reinstall the stock Rom to make calls.

But, all in all I want to thank everyone involved in bringing Cyanogen Rom to this phone.

Thanks for all the hard work!

will try out the alpha build as my rescue rom... ironically.
so if shinru could share a twrp backup of cricket stock rom, i'd really appreciate it. obviously i wiped out the whole internal sd without even realizing anything funny. now i'm on the twrp and i'm gonna try out your cm11.
thanks,

installed the alpha version but have issue with WIFI connection, the rom seems to make the phone have weaker connection, hence breaking up frequently.
EDIT: frequent WIFI disconnection might be due to various networks. ROM connects to my work WIFI just fine.

btw, can i use virgin/boost/sprint stock rom/backup to restore to my cricket 510?! i guess no, but just thinking

Yes, kernel is required. try it without and see. Boot.img is the Kernel so yeah, not in the Rom. I was just wondering if he got the data AND voice working together.great job on the hackrom. Love it already, it boots up in 5 seconds

So as far as i can see it appears that Voice and the Selfie-Camera do not work. Data has a spotty connection. everything else works great, though!

Okay, i appear to be stuck on the bright HTC Logo. Gonna try to reflash incase something went wrong in the process.

Edit: okay yeah, it's not working for me. Can't get past the HTC Logo.
