Hi Guys,
I'm an oldy but new to the world of android, which turns out to be both exiting and strenuous, as I often don't have a clue what people are talking about. It's like learning a new and interesting language.
My phone is a gt-i9000
*#1234# reveals
PDA: I9000BGJP3
PHONE: I9000BGJP2
CSC: I9000XECJP2
Build Info: 2010.11
It appears to be vodaphone, has many movistar demos which eats much memory
Every day I wish I hadn't bought it, as its slower than any phone I have seen lately und it looses its MAC address.
I found your site to be good, though I couln't find any helpful answers to my MAC address issue, after trying the stuff people talked about here (soft/hard reboot).
I'd like to root the phone some day, main thing is its lameness which definitely needs therapy. Thats why I'm here. I'm hoping to meet many enthusiasts, who know this language better and all things involved to make this d..... phone more useful.
Thanks for your time and cheers.
