Help Invalid SIM ?

This morning my Esteem said it was running low on memory, so I deleted some Text Conversations, moved some pictures from the internal memory to the memory card, no big deal right? Well it was hesitating when I was trying to look at Text conversation, so I turned it off and turned it back on again and now it says "Invalid SIM, Emergency calls only". My phone is all stock with only a handful of common aps downloaded to it. Oh and the battery was also down to 15% and it should have been more like 75-80%.

I rebooted it a couple times and I got the same result, right now I have it turned off and charging, I am hoping this is just a faulty battery.

Any Ideas?
 
Well have you had a hard reset anytime .if not you may want to do a hard reset holding the up / down volume keys and tap the power button while continuing to hold the volume keys down til the message appears and if you have been rooted before you should no what to do to finish the next part of the hard reset :eek:
 
I turned the phone back on and the problem went away,,
my phone has never been rooted,
I think the battery might be jacked up,
 
from phone OFF press and hold vol down home and power till you get to a screen that needs conformation and then i believe you press power (not sure could be vol down but pretty sure its power) twice as it says on screen and it will hard reset a non rooted phone with stock recovery
