Root ipad and wifi tether problems snowballing...

So I rooted my brothers phone today so he could use wifi tether with his ipad. The root went flawlessly. The problem is he used the market version of wifi tether and of course it didn't work.

Now I've gotten him the correct version but in the meantime his ipad will no longer accept the password to his house wifi. He's freaking out.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind, he got it working by restoring all the ipad settings to default.
