Help IPad to Samsung Phone

I have iCalendar on my iPad and have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone. I want to transfer my iCalendar onto my new phone. Thanks!

Check http://goo.gl/oLii7E and http://goo.gl/8eaNg2 you backup from the IPad then restore to the N3

I used the stock calender app on my ipad and managed to transfer the info to my Samsung with an app called 'smoothsync for cloud calender'
Its not expensive but does the job nicely and worked fine when my wife sold her ipad for the Note 2.
